Beholding Christ and grieving our sin
Covenant obligations and following Jesus. Obeying Christ means avoiding both the extremes of legalism and of antinomianism. Then we considered how we are not able to fulfill our covenant obligations and focused particularly on the fact that we tend to justify ourselves instead of grieving over our sin. Finally, we considered how Christ demonstrated both grace and justice on the cross and fulfilled the covenant obligations that we could not meet.
